ID #Describe your main reasons for either recommending or not recommending the product. Best Feature(s): We recieved the product today, and I just happened to be mowing. So I hooked it up and used it for the first time. It is a durable product and was easy to use. Colors my son pit an attachment on my weedwacker that was supposta be good and there was metal blades this did just as good a job if not better with plastic and was alot easier to use and safe. recommend this very much want to make sure I have plently of replacement blades for the future easy to change out and replace blades Cutting tab was very weak where makes loop inside the head and tore appart repeatly. With very limited use cutting tab started to wear down. Tab broke off at connection base after about 10 minutes use. Broke off while using against landscape timber. When in heavy grass pulls the trimmer head down into grass. Was ease to put together and change out heads. You Use les RPM on your Gas Trimmer. Plus reduced noise. Help you to control the trimmer more better. I like the way unit sets up the blades are very easy to change. It cut through even the toughest vegetation, I really like that you don't have to keep getting more line out for cutting. Not having to pop out more line. Easy to convert. Simple blade replacement. I would rrecommend this to anyone'It was easy to change over it took about 5 min if that. The diffternt color blade's you use. Easy to install. Excellent cutting power after you get use to its action. Easy installation. very easy to change spools, and things i would have not try to cut with my other spool i did with this one. greaat cutting power The MACH4 trimming system is a great idea for replacing your conventional string trimmer. The durable cutting blades make trimming and edging a breeze. This product does great for turf trimming. However, for thick brush the conventional string trimmers do a better job. Even at a high rpm the MACH4 trimming system leaves a ragged cut on tough (thick) brush. Would recommend for everyday simple turf manicuring, but not for overgrown brush. I think the best feature is the time it saves. Loading and reloading the blades is very quick and easy to do. Assembly of the new head to my Poulan weed eater was a snap. The directions were simple and easy to follow. The problem I have with loading string trimmers is the time it takes stopping and loading new string (and if the sting breaks off...time wasted). With the MACH4 trimming system if the blade breaks the head pops right off and you put another blade in. A real time saver!!! We have a section of chain link fence, a wood fence and a garden pond (lots of rocks) to cut around along with all the general edging we do. The lines survived all that and did a marvelous job. Plus they are still in great shape and can be used for a lot longer. The strength of the lines. Smooth, quiet, and accurate. Easy to trim around trees, shrubs and flowers without causing damage. Accurate for edging Strong cutting power' Prevents damage to plants, trees. The conversion to the areo-flex head was simple and took about ten minutes. The line is sturdy and will slice through the toughest of grass stalks and weeds. The down draft of the head helps to keep all the debris and rocks off my lower legs. This new design will make weed-eating a much easier task. Sturdy lines make weed-eating a less time consuming chore. Was very impressed by the ease of convertion and performance and would highly recommend it for use with a gas trimmer easy to convert and performance I loved your product! Trimmed for over an hour and never had to stop once to get more line to come out! This is wonderful. I have recomended it to all my neighbors. Easy to load and will cut high grass and weeds. It was nice to find that all the parts needed to install unit were in the package. The parts are "heavy"/durable, should last a long time. Ease of changing cutters This product is meant for a small city yard and did not do well on a small acreage or at cutting weeds. I like the easy way to attach the cutting blades. It would be nice if it had some heavy duty blades to use on weeds. Easy to attach the blades. Don't have to keep letting string out. I would recommend this product because of the ease of changing the blades and great edge trimming. blade changing and durability The 4 blades cut a neater look and also trim edges better than a string. As a bonus, it does not throw grass back on the operator. Cuts grass neater than a string trimer No more timming line to feed, the blades are easy to install. The color of the blades make trimming near objects much easier than regular trimming line. to be easy to use. Also the safety color of orange & yellow really helps with close trimming.Heavy-Duty - an the simply reloading of line blades is very easy. This system works with just about every trimmer made,an is made in the USA.
had to run wide open to cut other wise the mower stalled this was not a problem with the string you do not have to bump , no bits of string lying about,no tangling in weeds no refeeding line through guides Really like ease of inserting the blades into the head and the alternating color of the blades. The colors stand out and allow me to see better where I'm cutting as opposed to the traditional string. Ease of replacing the blades and that the color of the blades stand out and allow me to see where I'm cutting. i honestly recommend this product. ease of the product, the old line broke every few hits on our fence this one has yet to break The product worked excellent. Our weed wacker is very old and it made a huge difference. We were considering purchasing a new trimmer but don't feel the need to with this attachment. The suggested retail price would be ok depending on how many replacements it comes with and how long they last. Cutting Capability does not last long enough before it needs changing none This product was easy to install and made trimming chores go much faster because there is no bumping to get the line out as you work. You can see the radius of the cutting circle because of the brightly colored blades and the work was done much more quickly. Easy installation, no wrapping cords and untangling, just pop in the blades and your good to go. I found that even though I used lower speed to trim, the blades wore down reducing the cutting diameter. The only way to correct is to shut off weedwacker, and replace the blades, not something I want to do everytime I trim, I'd rather "bump" to extend more monofilament.This system would probably be best suited to an area without obstacles of any kind, and no edging. easy to load blades recommend this product very easy to assemble and you don't have to worry about changing the string all the time easy loading I was using a similar product and this one cuts much easier and last longer,so you recoup the price much quicker. Good value. The installation was super easy and it cut very well. easy to install,& use. great visiabilty.good cutting. visiabilty Blades should be made out of a stronger material to last longer. Bright color made it easy to find in shed. Ease of use and no string to mess with. Quiet Very easy to convert gas trimmer to Aero-Flex line blade. Very easy to install new blades. No more fighting with winding line on spool and trying to get back together without it all falling apart. Cut better then using original string. Especially nice to use around fencing, wire fencing and poles. When cutting around these things with the original string it would get all caught up in the wire or on the pole and usually stall out the motor. Not a problem with the Aero-Flex line blades. The only time it stalled was when I got too close to the ground and cut into the ground. Cutting around wire fencing and poles. Much better and easier to use then original string around these areas. I own the Ryobi CS30. Attaching was not the easiest. I had to add spacers before installing to gain clearance for the snap on head. Was unable to gain all clearance needed and had to grind a pocket on the inside of the cap to clear the mounting bolt to finalize cap installation. Seemed I needed to use more throttle to keep the line spinning and was unable to trim at low RPM as had hoped as grass stopped cutter. Extend the life of the line blades and you have a winning product. Would recommend if current model is easily adapted to new head. Concept is perfect, just needs some tweeking. Liked how it easily cut and the ability to see the cut path and avoided cutting wanted plants. As part of my testing, I try to consult customer service to determine their assistance. They were very helpful with questions and even followed up a day later to make sure installation was successfully acomplished. This is a great product, just a bit pricey. After using a few times, this product is very durable. Using aroud my brick house there is no sign of wear. Color coding is great. You can see where the blade is. The reason that I give this product such a poor rating is that as soon as we installed it, the drag created by the "blades" completely broke our string trimmer. I was unable to start the trimmer with the product installed--it created such strain on the motor that the pull string actually came out of alignment. I was looking forward to using this product, but instead am going to have to buy a brand new string trimmer because of it. If it is only recommended for trimmers of a certain horsepower, it should say so on the package! I received a 30$ free product test but now will have to spend at least twice that---probably more to cover the damage created by it and buy a new trimmer. I would not recommend the product unless they put a disclaimer on their package for certain brands/horsepowers of trimmer.
However, the product is certainly more durable than my trimmer was...I recommend this product to all Gardening members. I will never purchase another weadeater again, I will just get another Aero-Flex and hook it up. The installation was extremely easy, and the directions walked you step by step through changing the head on the weadeater. It also cuts wonderfully, and no STRING!=) So easy to install and place/replace blades. Cuts everything like butter! I won't be going back to string! Ease of installation. Ease of removing & replacing the cutting blades, and you can see the blades as your cutting enabling a more precise finished edge The product is easy to install and very easy to see when rotating, but I went through 3 sets of 2Y and 2O in just 30 minutes. It worked very well on just grass but when I tried it on thicker weeds, the ends wore down to absolutely nil. Ease of installation With the string trimmer it keeps breaking and you have to ask for more line. With the Aero-Flex once you assemble it you can keep trimming either grass or heavy brush. I was able to cut thick weeds and it didn't tangle up my trimmer. I could also see exactly the with the trimmer was going to cut because of the colors of the lines. No accidents cutting something I wanted to keep. Cuts heavier vegetation and seems to last longer than string type. Ease of use and installation, able to run at lower RPMs on grass. This worked much better on tougher weeds and grasses than the traditional string trimmer, and was much easier and safer to use than the metal blade trimmers. Easy instructions for conversion of the string trimmer. Does a great job. I am able to see where I am trimming. The colored tynes are a sure asset to use. I used this product to clear the grass out of my ditch and it worked very well, I did not have to worry about having to run ot out of sring. long lasting this product was easy to put on--liked the cut better when you used 2 orange & 2 yellow--nice clean cut easy to install on weed eater--instructions clear Takes trimmer head design to a new design level. I have tried every design on the market and have been unsatisfied. Very easy to install the head and to load or replace the cutting blades. Blades seem to last much longer than string type. This is a winner! The cutting blades are not stiff enough to cut through weeds and water grass. Once you get next to an object (i.e. wall, etc.) the blades bend and basically stop cutting. The blades need to be stiffer. The concept is good; just needs some adjustments. Easy to load Changing the head was simple and quick, with this product, the old "bump and go" method for releasing new line is eliminated. I especially like the yellow and/or orange cutting blades which give you an excellant visual as to where you're cutting at all times, with three + hours on a set of blades, there is very little sign of use, and I'm still getting a clean cut at low rpm's; these blades are very durable This system is easy to install and very easy to use. The blades have great visibality . The best I have used. Coustimer service is some of the best I have ever recieved . When using the product cutting weeds near concrete the plastic cutting edges worn down really quickly ease of use, not have to deal with string anymore Great visibilty of blade ends when cutting and the ease of changing the blades The blades and the visibilty We are still on the original blade after heavy use.(we love it)
We are still using the original blade afterlow speed and so easy to navigate The slow speed is quiet. cuts well. Easy to control. worked well at slow speeds Gives a good, clean cut, and seems durable. construction of cutting blades I tested the product for 3 hours. Ordinarily, I would have gone through 6 strings in that time (I have very difficult trimming conditions, with lots of wire fence and even more boulders) but I just had to replace that line once. Being able to see the string in motion made close trimming easier. It seemed to lift up grass for cutting easier (I used two of each color of string, as recommended for that). Durability of string and cutting power. Great for general clean-up Smooth operation loved it nice not to have to deal with the string easy to use,nice to have instead of the string that always gets sucked up Like the durability of the plastic blades over the other brands of cutting lines. Easier to change blades rather than lines. I recommend this product. It out-performs any other cutting twine or cutting head assembly. On a lawn which had never been edged, it cut through 1" thatch along a 12 foot border; the ends of the tines were bent and one had broken. Other twine would break after 2 feet of cutting area. I expect little wear for maintenance edging. It cut through heavy weeds, but I had to use higher R.P.M.'s. It suffered no damage against a wooden fence. It did wear down against a stone wall, but no twine survives stone or brick. Ease of changing blades: the cover comes off the head assembly easily, and the new blades are replaced in a minute. You can see the color of the blades as they spin. Blade colors are selected for the direction of the trimmer spin: yellow for clockwise, orange for counter-clockwise. No more bumping while operating trimmer to bring out more trimming line. Ease of loading no more treading and winding of trimming line. this product saved me lot of time. I had just been using the weedeater and I had to mess with the line several times. The aero-flex line worked and I never had to mess with the line I like the fact that you can see the line as it spins, so you know just where you are cutting Does not cut as good as the line I used before. Curls back and quits cutting. Blades wore out to fast. Easy replacing cutting blades Once I figured out which head to use and how to attach it to my machine, I was very pleased with the performance of the blades. Normally I have to stop several times and replace the old strings. With this product, I was able to get the whole job done without interruption. Could see where the blades were while in use, and they are very durable. this product works great, and it does not take full speed to do most of the cutting needed done, I found that it worked better at medium speed on the weed eater. I like the flexiblility of the blades. they work just as the istructions say they do. I had difficulty cutting with this product because I have to tilt the weedeater to the left to get it to cut anything. This wears me out very quickly in the arm and shoulder on the left side. Also in this position; I tend to gouge the grass instead of cutting uniformily. Ease of installation. colors look neat also Changing the line blades are quick and easy. Color makes them easy to be seen when trimmer is running.Price is alittle high but would recommend it. Visibility of blades when trimmer is running. It performed like they said it would, it did cut the grass well and you could feel the draft they explained would be there to pull the grass up. I was not happy with how quickly the blades wore down, I really expected them to last longer. ease of installation of head and blades great product. very easy to retrofit the trimmer. blades are long lasting. the color creats a cuting field that makes it more contolable.blades are long lasting. the ease replacing the blades It is a good product, and easy to use. This is a good feature, you do not have to bump the head. Its works much better than the trimming line. I would definately recommend this product to everyone who uses a weedeater! The ease of assembly This was a snap to attach as well as use. I loved how well it cut thru some of my taller weeds and grass. Usually by the end of weedeating my hands and arms are extremely fatigued ( and 'buzzing') but not with this! I really liked the fact that I could see the blades so could tell exactly what I was cutting. Easy to use and NO stopping to untangle lines. no matter what product you have for trimming there is always abit of trouble getting in tight spots. no line to change. Does a good job with less hassle Don't have to stop the usual three or four times to pull out new string It was easy to install.Strong never broke a blade doing 1/2 acre of flower beds with wood and brick edging and around buildings. Its flexability For edging it is great. I use a trimmer to actually mow, due to many rocks and for this purpose it is fair, leaves clumps of poorly cut grass. Ease of changing cutting surfaces. long lasting time for the cutters After we got the original trimmer head off, the converter installed very quickly. The pictures for installation could be a little more distinct, but installation was easy. It did take a little bit of time getting comfortable with operating it on a lower RPM, but once you get there, it works nicely. If the blades are running at too low a speed, they bend when they hit the grass versus cutting it. But once you get it at the right rotation, it plows right through. We have not put enough use time on the first set of blades to determine how much longer they last than typical string, but so far, I have been able to see almost no "damage" to the blades from the cutting of the dried up grasses around our place. It pulls the grass up instead of it laying over like it use to when we used the original head of the trimmer. wore out fast when cutting in rocks and grass, worked fine around wire fence easy to put in blades very easy to use Durability Good for light duty trimming good design and easy to use The unit worked very well. The product worked at low RPMs. Also as the blades spun there was a visual outline of the cutting width which was very helpful when you positioned the trimmer to cut. Low noise, works at low RPM, and you can visually see the cutting diameter. the product was easy to install instructions very easy to follow, very easy to use, cut through large weeds and grass with no breakage of line, blades are long lasting and easily replaced with no more messy lines to wind or fish out of the spool after breaking trimming around the house and yard without having to constantly fix broken trimmer line I really cut through the tall weeds by the creek ,i was surprised easy to use ,reloading was a snap I would not recommend this product the line is not very forgiving and it catches in the thick grass and the trimmer shuts off. I have a couple hundred feet of wood fence to trim around and the trimmer shut off at least 10 times. Plus I noticed a lot of the grass looked ripped compared to the string line I use. I tried it with 2 lines and four lines. Easy to put on the cut line. the product was easy to install an did a great job of trimming the grass very close to the edge. Much better than a line trimmer the durabillity of it Very easy to install and use this product . No more tapping or rewinding. Just clip and go. Less than five minutes from begining to end.
Easy replace blades,also long lasting in rough conditions. Highly recommended. I have used numerous types of trimmers and this is one of the best. Easy to install, load, and use. Low power requirements to cut with the aerodynamically-shaped blades.
Great (sharp) cutting edge that leaves clean edges.The installation was very easy, and it's performance is way above that of normal trimmer string The cutting power. As noted below, performance was inconsistent on lighter jobs. I would expect better all-around performance for the price. Very durable with excellent cutting quality on really tough jobs like thicker brush or reeds. After using older trimmers with the spooled line I wish I had this years ago. Much easier to change the line. Easy to pull the head off and change the cutters. Durability was excellent and I did not need to change the line as often. Where I would put new line in my Echo trimmer head every other trim, I have trimmed 4 times and the cutters are barely wearing on the ends. Also, very easy to install and put new cutters on. The colors are nice so you can see where you are cutting. The only reason I rated durability NA is because we haven't used it enough yet to test how long it will last. Our impression is that this is a great product. Ease of installation. I had trouble with my trimmer stalling out. Also I couldn't get into square corners. Product worked better with all one color trimmer blades. Does good job of blowing off the sidwalk when done mowing. Ease of installing on trimmer. Great product and is easy to change flex line blades. I could see the blade length while cutting. I gave it a good workout cutting some tall grass and it cut like a champ. Ease of loading flex line. This product greatly reduced the noise of the trimmer. You can do most trimming with the trimmer on idle. Quick installation of unit onto trimmer and fast replacement of blades. You do not have to worry about your trim line getting tangled up and having to stop and re-wind the trim line as I have had to do in the past. Very easy to install. It solves the fustration of the line trimming systems. Very good cut. bladesMy husband used this product and said the only thing he wasn't crazy about was using it edge. It automatically shut off if he tried to cut to low to the ground. Won't have to constantly re-string the trimmer-very easy to replace these. Easy to add onto existing weed eater replaceable ties This Aero-Flex Line is amazing. Cuts clean and is very durable. I love it! Makes a very tedious job easier, no line to replace, rewind or fight with.

Say goodbye to your string cutters! These blades are the best! Only takes a minute to change out the blades! The cutting power is more with less engine speed & noise. You can also see where you are cutting with the colored blades. I have 3/4 acre I mow & trim, going around brick planters, a chain-link fence, a wooden slat fence & concrete foundations. I was surprised at the minimal wear on the blades. I highly recommend the Aero-Flex blades. Fast & easy changing out the blades. With the colored blades you can see where you are cutting. The Mach4 line blades are very durable, easy to install, visible during rotation, and produces a fine even surface cut. I will never go back to the hassle of the old line cutter head. The blades are durable and can cut through growth my line cutter couldn't. The visibility of the blades makes it easy to achieve a perfect cut. i didnt think it was going to work very good ...but i was very suprised by how well it worked.cut and lasted way better than i thought they would. light but very strong plastic blades cut through light brush with out breaking or wearing down quikly like string line Used on A weedeater GTI 15T. This might not be powerful enough for heavy cutting. I killed the engine several times in use. The airfoil effect tended to flatten the grass instead of lift. It was not easy to use around corners.
Durablity of blades is very good. I have not broken or worn one out yet. I used four blades, all one color and mixed. but have not used just two yet. Works very well for large areas w/o obstacles.
I had less luck around posts & corners.durability, color, ease of replacement Performed as advertized. Have used it 3 times and has not broken yet. I firmly believe this will be the last trimmer head I will ever need. Easy to install and durable line blades. ITS VERY EASY TO USE, ONCE THE CORRECT SPEED IS FOUND This product works great for grasses and light weeds but does not hold up very well with vine-type vegetation. Easy visibility of line blades. It took me a little while to get it put on my weedeater, had to go on your website to clearer instructions. ease of changing the filaments For those who like a gas trimmer, and don't have many walls or much fencing, it works well. Ease of replacement of line blades. Very durable product. I live on two acres. Have a wide range of weed wacking needs, from grass to large thick weeds/trees. Also have large controlled drainage by the road that is lined with large granite rocks. Weeds grow in the ditch and need to be weed wacked. However because of the rocks I used to have to constantly change out the filiment in my weed wacker. Aero-flex advertises that if you slow down the speed of your weed wacker that their blades are very durable. This is definately true. I was able to weed wack the entire ditch without having to change the blades. Very nice! Also, when you do have to change out the blades it is quick and easy to do. The way the blades are designed, they will not come lose while weed wacking, but are easy to change. Over all, I highly recommend the product. Their product does what it claims to do. It will be interesting to see how long the blades last before they get brittle. In other words, if I store the blades over the winter, will the blades get brittle or will they work the following summer just as well? Exceptionally durable. works very well with heavy weeded areas. durable blades This is the pest grass trimming system I have ever used. You do not have to be filling your trimmer with line all the time/. works very well.easy set up and trouble free use,much better than string trimmer. works very well,easy to use the high strength cutting blades hold up nearly 3 times longer than an entire spool of regular line the cutting blades are day-glo red and yellow, and you can see exactly where and what you are cutting. I had a hard time at first, but once installed it was a great product to use. If the installation instructions are a little more clear, it woould be a great product to use. As per the company who made the product, I had to break a seal inside my trimmer in order to install theirs....which means I now have to use their product regardless. Durable construction, great cutting power It was very easy to take off my old part and install the Aero-Flex. The 4 plastic blades were great even against fencing. Did have to worry about getting the regular line caught in the fense. 1. seemed to be very durable

3. life of inserts when trimming by foundations, fences, etc.Took only about 15 minutes to convert and ready to use. Did very well on the weeds I have at the time. Next spring on Starthisle and mustard will be the real test of cutting,durablilty and cost effectiveness to the stared line I normally use. Easy of putting on new blades Was unable to attach this cutter to my echo power trimmer so I used another cub cadet that I had. I followed the directions supplied and in trying to remove the spool, I broke my trimmer. I did not attempt to use it on another trimmer. I did not find this any easy procedure to convert. The directions were not clear so installation took a bit of time Cuts well The idea was a good one! the lines need to be a tad longer I think. Trimmer requires a lot more power when using these Aero lines. I found you can't trim as close as you can with regular trimmer line; for myself I would not purchase, but I appreciate y'all letting me do a trial run. personally, I found it harder to keep the weedeater running with the aero flex line conversion kit; My weedeater was in for replacement of the upper shaft ....apparently the shaft is defective. was hard to find a dealer who would willing replace the shaft while under warranty.

Did sustain a little damage to the bottom of my wooden shed, but that was my error. No more replacing string! No more feeding string! easy to install good for all round trimming I personally am hard on a weedeater, I usually have to replace mine every year, because of the work demand I put on it, The product didn't have the cutting power I expected it to have. It would be good for someone who didn't expect it to cut down heavy brush. Good for trimming along sidewalks. changing out the cutting blades, so much easier than winding line on spool. Oddly, It worked well on thicker brush than it did on grass. Hacked nicely through wild flax, but only tickled lawn grass. Works as advertised throughout a wide range of engine speeds. Great idea & design. Works as advertised. quick and easy to install ease of instalation Last longer than the stock trimming line that it came with trimmer easy loading Plastic cutting strings did not hold up very well and had to be replaced often. It would be good for cutting weeds and long grass but is not good for just trimming after cutting the grass. It kept braking, by the time I was done I had almost nothing left. cuts good I felt like my weed eater used more gas due to the crag that the lines caused. I killed the weed eater several times and have never done so before. It was nice to be able to see the lines, but I couldn't use the weed eater as designed, as a trimmer also because the lines were too long. Ability to see cutting lines. It is very easy to install and does a wonderful job high visibilty, good cutting performance and outlasts any line I have ever tried The trimmer head is very easy to install and the blades are very easy to replace.

better cutting powerI have a lot of fencing, this held up much better than regular string, which a fence will eat up fast ease of attaching string and length of time you can weed eat with out changing This product is well worth what they are asking for it. Just to not have to wind that line around my spool makes it worth it. But it also out performed on that cost alot more. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to use the product. The metal replacement spool, so that it does not break like the hard plastic ones do. The greatest feature though is the ease of putting on the new line. Love this product. Durability and effectiveness Once installed, does a great job There is NO Way on God's Green earth that those plastic things are worth what the will be charging for them. They DO NOT last threw 1 cutting use. style, and cute colors Product worked good and is easier to use than regular string line Universal fit Blades do wear some when used to edge along concrete drives but overall held up well and the ease of not having to deal with jammed was a real plus. the bright color of Aero-Flex lines are easier to see than white line on the other spindle fed types which makes it easier to see thus keeping a cleaner line when edging around beds and drive etc. THE WEED CUTTER BLADES LASTED 45 MINUTES EASY TO INSTALL I would recommend this product because it is so easy to put on your trimmer & it is so easy to change the blades then putting new line on. The way it is design & how easy it is to change the blades. It wouldn't cut grass hardly at all. On heavier weeds it cut only fair. Wouldn't cut close to the ground at all. Easy to install blades. Attached easily. Once attached, it fit well however the blades frayed quickly while cutting and it took several attempts in one location to get a clean cut as you need to hold it in a specific position to get the clean cut. No strings to replace, you can just keep on trimming The instructions were easy to follow and it worked on our older weed eater. I liked the idea of being able to fit the blades on the head so easy, but the biggest problem we had with it were the blades broke too easy. The durability of the blades did not last long. We are going to continue using them in different areas and see if this makes a difference. Is it what we cut or how we trim.
Thank you for the chance to try this.The ability to put the blades onto the head. Unlike string weed eaters, this unit you do not have to worry about string hanging up and not feeding. Durablity of each individual blade is amazingly strong. non string feed It did not cut well against our edging around flower beds which happens to be rocks. It broke both times- did not hold up and he is out of product. It did cut well around trees. Cut well around trees. It easy to use and don't have to change the line out. This was very easy to install and use Ease of use The Aero-Flex Blade is great. It has cut everything we have tried it on and the blade NEVER breaks like line did. It was very easy to install on our Homelite machine. Never have to replace the blades like we used to with the line. It was so easy to put together. I had it done in 5 minutes and did my whole 2 acre yard and still had more line to go. It cuts better than the line so I don't have to use my brush cutter attachment as much. It really chewed up those tough weeds. I can't live without it now! Ease of installation I put yellow strips in which cut well but didn't last very long--with the orange strips it only cut fair--tall grass stopped the machine--strips wore much more quickly than string on 3/4 acre lawn. Easy to load the strips. My weedeater had more vibrations and was harder to handle. I had trouble with distance from edge equal to line feed. It was extremely noisy. Extremely easy to change lines and even to change heads from line feed to this head. for light duty work it is good,heaveier weeds and wire grass it wasn't the best the ease in mounting to the machine Whips last longer, cuts good, easy installation. Ease in cutting and installation. Different Colors When edging lawn along sidewalk, the blades get used up faster. I trimmed 180 feet of edging with 1 set of orange aero flex blades as opposed to 8 times of standard trimming material. I was quite impressed. Ease of installing new blades with its loop design. Just press the side wall and the outer cover opens up. It's a snap. We have 20 ac. and creek. a lot of weeds where mower can't get. This was very handy to get at those spots and lasted a long time even when going around rocks and walls easy to use and easy to change. It does not cut the grass well. There was too much downforce of wind causing the grass to be blow over before the line blade could cut it. none Works good and doesn't break when you hit the fit wire. The ease of changing heads was outstanding. What I anticipated to be difficult was completed in a few minutes, The accompanying instructions were very complete and easy to understand. The ease of changing cutting line is great. The Aero-Flex conversion kit was easy to install and the blades cut great. Not having to keep stopping and pulling out more string made weed eating go much quicker. Thanks for this great new item. I will get alot of user from it in the years to come. blades that last, not having to stop to pull out more string. Lower speed of the motor--not having to cut at highest RPM This trimmer system makes it very easy to load the new plastic cutting "blades". The blades also are long lasting for normal yard use and also stand up very well to heavier weeds and fences. Very easy to handle.Was easy to transfer from old thread. The cuttung is excellant, so much better than the one that came with the trimmer. I would recommend this product to other members. The kit makes it very easy to convert your weed eater and it's nice not to have to be bumping and keeping an eye on the string. Ease of use Very easy to put on my old trimmer. I won't run out of string while working in my yard. Why didn't someone think of this before? I found this product superior to other similar adaptations for monofilament line trimmers. I have used other adaptations with poor results. Ease of changing cutters and their durability even when cutting thick grass or perennials.
My husband didn't like that he had to remove the existing head from the trimmer and install the new head. However he said that it worked well once it was attached. The blades last longer than the string Much easier to load than string ones. No need to change string often We found the cutters wore out quite quickly in our yard. they were noisy, but did cut well. String works as well for us, and is cheaper. easy to install I would recommend this product. The ease of installation was good. I had a harder time removing the old string attachment than installing the new one. The Aero-Flex lines do a nice job cutting, but aree not as sturdy as I had hoped. Overall, this is a great alternative to string trimmers. Ease of installation. Cuts a clean line when alternating blades are installed. Otherwise, the suction developed will sometimes cause a "chopping" action into the turf. No tangles! Easy line replacement. I like the fact that you can see how close to something you're trimming. It's easy to put "blades" on. And it works on a low speed. Ease of putting cords on For the price of $28 I could buy a whole lot of regular replacement line. Also unsure of price of replacement cutters. Also conversion of cutting head would not be easy for those who are not real handy. Ease of replacing cutting lines. It does a very good job trimming and I thought it was easy to use. The man who helps me in my garden disagrees.
The blades do wear off rather quickly, but they are easily replaced. Much easie so than the string method.easy exchange of blades The installation is easy and the product works great. I don't miss the tangled line at all. I liked being able to trim at slower speeds with great results.

The blades are easy to replace.REPLACING ORIGINAL HEAD ON TRIMMER WITH THIS PRODUCT IS NO EASY TASK BEING ABLE TO SEE WHERE CUTTING Not Rec. for retrofit on Ryobi gas string trimmer. Instructions to remove & replace Outer Spool assembly not clear & required call to mfgr [not cust. friendly or acceptable] for a product of this nature. The need for 'split ring' removal tool in my opine, puts the product in an arena outside of most users --- even the 'do it yourself' repair types. I am an engineer who has an array of tools much beyond those of the average 'Joe fixit'. I struggled for more than an hour before calling the 800 # finding out I needed to break a ring fastener in order to release the original head. I missed this important step in the instruction materials provided. This important point should be highlighted in a future revamp of the instructions. I was unhappy with the cutting performance of the Mach 4 system with long grass or weeds of 3-4 inches [see #18 for more details]. The product was sluggish in attacking heavy or thick grass, it would slow down of stop cutting if a hi rpm were not engaged before attempting this type trim. Again, the literature implied the trimmer would work effectively at lower rpm's ... not true! The quick or easy replacement of trimmer blades but I was disappointed in the overall durability of blades which the literature led one to believe they would last longer than the nylon string of original version. I have a smaller gas powered trimer, it kept cutting off when I first started using this system. After adjusting the height of the trimmer, it didn't cut off as much. It did take several tries to figure it out. You don't have to replace the line nearly as much. There are four lines attacking the grass. Two are horizontal and two are vertical. It's very thorough. Ease of use & replacing the blades, beats the string method. easy for the ladies too!
Using blades instead of string. I feel this is an excellent alternative to the trimmer line that does not seem to last. Works grat in many ways and places plus, it is durable. Long lasting use 1. It did not work for me - it layed the grass down instead of cutting it. 2. It seemed too rigid and made the trimmer hard to manuver causing fatigue. 3. It did not cut a clean, straight line. 4. If I struck a solid object it would kill the engine immediately instead of bouncing off. 5. You must remove the head of your trimmer to install the AERO-FLEX which is intimidating at first. 1. Simple. 2. There is an extensive amout of information about the product and safety with good photographs and illustrations included with instructions. It takes a bit to change over the trimmer from trim-line to this adapter, but very easy to change things around once you do. I like this product very much, but am worried about the place of replacement blades. There is nothing in the survey to tell you how much they will cost. The initial of $27.95 is not a bad start up cost. It is easy to use. It is SO NICE not to have worry about constantly releasing trim wire, then then trim wire getting snagged and ripped off so you have to stop and restring it. Very nice! ease of use/easy to change plastic cutters.

But it definitely is NOT a brush cutter. If the fins were made of harder material, then maybe.
They tangle into any long brush and you spend quite a bit of time untangling the debris.Very easy to install I would not recommend this product i did not like the way this product performed at all This is a well designed and durable product. Only the thoughest weeds (my Common Cocklebur)gave it a problem. Easy to change blades. I would recommend this product to 99% of the people who use a line trimmer. Using it out here in the countryside trying to cut down young tree growth and heavy weed stems, not quite as good, but a string trimmer doesn't work on them very well either. I have to use heavier blades/steel blade. The conversion kit is wonderfully easy to use. Once the head is installed, the blades are even easier to install in the head. No more wrapping the plastic line around and losing a grip on it and have to start over. Extremely easy to change the old head to the new head and blades. Blades are very easy to install--cannot put them in backward. The blades last much longer than the plastic line (string) we had been using. I tackled some serious weeds and it worked very well. It handled big, thick stemmed weeds fairly easily. the trimmer blades are highly visible while running so you can see where you are cutting much better cutting blades are very easy to change Works as described and beyond my expecatations! Less time replacing line in a standard line holder ! It made nice clean cuts and I didn't end up with little pieces of nylon all over my yard. More durable than string. Lasts longer than string. extremely easy to use. love that it cleared out my clippings away from where i was trimming ease of use. clearly see the cutting path You have better control of the cutters at the lower speed, like they said in the brochure. The blades did not cut very well and pain to put on, wore out right away and then broke into pieces on first use. Could not even do the whole yard on one set of blades. I would recommend this product if you are trying to handle heavier weeks. It's too expensive and doesn't last long enough to use for normal weeks or grass. Instructions and ease of changing from normal string on the string cutter to this. It worked well and was easy to install. It did a good job on thicker weeds than a string trimmer would have done, and did an average job on tall grass. It's ability to cut thicker stemmed weeds. easy to use. easy to load. the head cover was hard to remove. blades This is an update to my previous survey results. I tried the blades 2 of each color together and it works better than with just 1 color for cutting down weeds and grass around my fruit trees and other bushes I can't get the mower close to. Ok for small jobs. no string to deal with
