When plunging high speed trimmer line and MACH 4® line blades directly into concrete, MACH 4® line blades outlasted round line by more than 20 to 1. BRICK, ASPHALT EDGING TESTS - (50x Farther) While operating at low RPM’s i.e. part throttle near 4000 RPM, four MACH 4® line blades successfully edged 50 times farther (than 2 round lines) without having to stop or experiencing harassing interruptions compared to conventional line.

With the same gas trimmer, we ran over 850 ft. (with part throttle) while impressively edging directly against asphalt.  Under the same ground conditions, round line required a replenishment every 15 ft. on the same test track and did not produce anywhere near the MACH 4® edging quality even under very tough grass conditions. FUEL EFFICIENT - (1/2 OR MORE SAVED) Less Fuel - Less Refueling! Comparative tests reveal same job done with about ½ the fuel required to run conventional monofilament line. This is due to the lower speeds and the power saved by reducing drag. This benefit also reduces your refueling time.
