Visual Control – See the plane! 

Normally, a conventional line swath is invisible. In most light, the MACH 4® swath is conveniently visible to help you cut with better control within sensitive and delicate areas. This is due to the wide reflective surfaces of the line blade in most light conditions. MACH 4® Line Blades reflect light. The more visible plane helps you better control where your trimmer is cutting.

Delicate Ttrimming

The more visual plane of the line blades combined with low RPM trimming are features to help you control the position of the line blade plane to prevent damage to sensitive trees and desirable vegetation. You now have a better idea where you are whereas conventional line is invisible – you don’t know where it is.

Edging - Reliable and Precise

Edge with precision at low RPMs along the toughest and most abrasive contours without the harassing interruptions of conventional lines. MACH 4® line blades can go 50x farther without having to stop to replenish.

Trimming at Preset Idle Speeds

(Clutchless Trimmers) A number of our satisfied users have reported and like to boast that their entire job around their lot and home (trimming and edging against abrasive edges) was accomplished at or near idle speeds without having to use the trigger at all. Occasionally, when vegetation was a bit heavier, they would advance the throttle as needed as their clutchless unit had power to spare when called on. They saved fuel, enjoyed the low noise levels, and in general got their jobs done without interruption. Some also reported that setting the idle speed screw slightly above the normal idle speed (on clutchless units)allowed a very controllable and effective trimming speed to their precise liking! Additionally, they felt it to be a benefit not to have to pull the trigger all the time. Added benefits were further realized with veryfew thrown objects, more precise control into very tight spots, and very impressive line blade life.

Blow Debris Away (Downdraft)

The MACH 4® System offers a handy and convenient method to blow grass debris away. Use full throttle to increase downward air flow to then create a noticeable volume of helpful air to blow the debris from the surface.Use 4 orange for counterclockwise. Use 4 yellow for clockwise.

Scalping

Strong line blades can scalp (flush to ground) unwanted vegetation along flower beds or off abrasive roadway surfaces.
