Before Operating, Make Sure You Have:

• Removed the original cap and spool.
• Loaded two Aero-Sharp® line blades over cap posts, under retainer hoods, and into slots.
• Installed two (2) cutters for proper balance.
• Installed Snap & Trim^TM assembly into open receiver head windows.
• Properly aligned the cap to fully close.
• Aligned the cap guide with the old string outlet boss. (Cap installs only one way with cap guide over string outlet boss.)
• Assured both cap fingers are fully seated and engaged before operation.

To Keep Yourself and Others Safe While Operating, Be Sure To:

• Operate only when then trimmer's grass shield is in place.
• Wear protective eyewear.
• Keep bystanders away.

Using Your New Snap and Trim^TM System is Simple, To Get Started:

• Rest the trimmer's glider on the grass and cut through grass while moving the trimmer in any direction.
• The cut height is pre-set for fool-proof, even trimming. For a lower cutting height, tilt the trimmer on the glider.

For Proper Balance, Be Sure To:

• Always run the Snap and Trim^TMsystem with two (2) cutters for proper balance.

To Prevent Motor Burnout, Be Sure To:

• Slowly and gently feed the trimmer into the cut to avoid overloading the motor.
• Avoid rapid cutting or plunging the cutters into heave vegetation.
• Do not remove the glider from the trimmer. (Low cuts to the ground will increase operating watts and increase the chance of motor burnout.)
